Image distribution

All departments in the hospital or radiology center will benefit the advantages of Stradus Hybrid PACS. From any computer inside the hospital or radiology center images can accessed. All departments and users can have their own user account. New user accounts can easily be created free of cost. Stradus Hybrid PACS allows unlimited concurrent users.

Remote viewing

Stradus Hybrid PACS not only provides extremely fast viewing from within the hospital, but also provides convenient and fast access from outside the hospital to authorized users. Stradus Hybrid PACS has been specially optimized to work effectively even on slow and unreliable internet connections. Any consumer internet connection (or 3G mobile connection) is sufficient to have a good working experience. This allows both referring physicians and radiologists to reliably access the images at anytime from anywhere.

Stradus Hybrid PACS uses a combination of intelligent streaming and smart pre-fetching. Intelligent streaming will minimize wait times on slow connections by optimally using the available bandwidth. Smart pre-fetching will continuously dynamically try to predict which images are the most likely to be seen next. These images will already automatically be pre-send from the servers in the background, so that they will be available as soon as they are needed by the users.

Stradus users can access Stradus Hybrid PACS from almost all types of phones, tablets and computers. Stradus supports Android, iOS (iPhone and iPad), Windows PCs and Macs for viewing. Authorized users simply can go to the browser to enjoy the full functionality of Stradus wherever they are. The viewer is optimized for both large PC screens and small mobile screens.
